Apex Legends Cross-Progression development delayed due to recent hacking issues

Recent articles

Apex Legends Game Director Chad Grenier recently posted online about the cross-progression development for the popular battle royale game Apex Legends.

It seems that the cross-progress, the most anticipated feature, will have to wait. Grenier recently revealed on his personal Twitter account that development of the upcoming feature has been delayed due to the recent hacking incident involving Apex and Titanfall.

The development team that handles the cross-progression development will now have to put it down for a while and focus more on solving the many issues currently facing the game. They will have to troubleshoot live games first before they can do anything new.

Cross-platform play was implemented a while ago, but players were unable to transfer their progress from one platform to another. The cross-progression announcement made fans happy, but with the attacks on Respawn Entertainment’s games, that will have to wait.

Apex Legends is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
