There is now a pre-load release date for the Leave trailers app designed to accompany the upcoming Blue Box PS5 game. The developer announced on Twitter that it will be released on July 29, 2021. People can then download it before videos appear.
There is a timeline for some of the Leave Trailers App additions too. While the app will load before the end of July, the first video won’t show until August 10, 2021. That will be an ‘introduction’. After that, a “first trailer” will be released in August 2021.
One of the few official announcements and videos for the PS5 game to date came from the PlayStation blog. It will be a first-person following a man named Jason Longfield. He has been abandoned in a forest and your goal is to help him survive. It uses 3D audio and haptic feedback. At one point, Blue Box Game Studio shared a tweet stating that the game’s real name would be “First letter S, last letter L”, but it has since removed it. There were also rumors online where some people thought it might be a secret Hideo Kojima project.
Leave coming to PS5 in Q4 2021 and Trailers app pre-load will begin on July 29, 2021.
