Kevin Feige delivers a “never say never” when it comes to Venom in the MCU

Recent articles

We’ve all been hearing the rumors for months; hell, these go back further than that. The rumble of Tom Hardy’s Venom entering the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been around since the character was first introduced.

But now, with Spider-Man: No Way Home looking like a superhero movie of epic, Cinematic Universe-crossing proportions, those rumors have gained traction. So much so that RottenTomatoes.com spoke to Kevin Feige of Marvel Studios about the reports, stating that:

“Obviously, I don’t want to talk about rumors or speculation about what might or might not happen when it comes to characters Marvel Studios has not yet brought to the screen. But I’ll say what I’ve always said, after being with Marvel for 20 years, I wouldn’t reject anything, I wouldn’t rule anything out. When and how and where remains to be seen. It could be, you know, any rumor you read online could happen anytime between now and never.

Feige is known for keeping MCU secrets close to his chest, but obviously he wouldn’t go into this, but it’s even surprising to hear him admit the rumours. Venom appears in Spider-Man: No Way Home would be a big surprise but would fit the story that this movie is a bit bizarre. Or could Tom Hardy’s Venom appear in? Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness? Time will tell.
