Atlus has opened up a new Persona 25th Anniversary website, dedicated to celebrating the 25th anniversary of the series in September 2021. The special website is also teasing a total of seven upcoming projects, which Atlus says will feature “birthday merchandise, events, collaborations, and game information.”

Atlus will announce several projects from September 2021 to fall 2022, as part of the “PERSONA 25th Anniversary YEAR”. In addition, the website has already announced a new line of specials 25th anniversary commemorative itemsranging from T-Shirts, posters, pins and mugs. The anniversary merchandise is available for pre-order at the Atlus D webshop as well as the Animate online shop and will be released on September 18, 2021.
At the end of last month, Atlus revealed in its annual financial reports that the Persona series as a whole reached about 15 million units sold. Before that, more than 3 million copies of the series had been sold by 2020, after the release of Persona 5 Royal in October 2019 and Persona 5 Strikers in February 2020. In addition, 2021 will also mark the 35th anniversary of Atlus’ founding, which the company celebrated with the release of a range of commemorative pins and other merchandise.
