Marvel’s Loki has been renewed for a second season on Disney+

Marvel has revealed that the Loki Disney+ series returns for a second season via an announcement during a mid-credits scene in the season finale released on Wednesday, July 14.

In the mid-credits scene, Loki’s variant file is shown before someone stamps it with a message revealing that season two is in development. There are currently no details on when production will begin on the second season or a release date.

Loki is the first Marvel Disney+ series to be renewed for a sequel season as WandaVision has previously been confirmed to be a limited series, while The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was titled as an ongoing series, but a second season has not yet been confirmed (a fourth Captain America movie, which may have changed Marvel’s plans in this area).

Marvel Studios’ “Loki” shows the God of Mischief stepping out of his brother’s shadow in a new series set after the events of “Avengers: Endgame”.

Loki has a cast that includes Tom Hiddleston, Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sasha Lane, Wunmi Mosaku, Deobia Oparei, Jack Veal, and Richard E. Grant.
