The latest update for the game is out now with some changes as seen below.

Important announcement

  • The instrument delay setting has been reset for everyone. This was supposed to be 0 ms when we launched the displayed instrument, but it was set to 500 ms by default.
    • This makes the toy piano feel better and more responsive.
    • Players can still adjust the setting, which is useful if different players want to sync their tunes to play together.

Improvements

  • Some messages at the end of battles (money lost on loss, money won on a dojo rematch, and TMR changed during a ranked battle) are now not automatically skipped.
  • Added some more vibration triggers in battle and while jumping or climbing.

Balance

Economy

  • 👥Telomere hacks and hotfixes can now be sold to NPCs.
    • Hacks are sold for 1000 Pansuns each and Hotfixes are sold for 2000 Pansuns each.

PVE

  • The Mythical Temtem in Lairs will now be a bit more tank-like.
  • Medicine items are now slightly more expensive during dens.

PVP

  • 👥The TMR formula no longer takes into account the number of healthy Temtem left on the battlefield.
    • While this made sense on paper, it led to unwanted behaviors (such as giving up when your rival has a minimal edge) and favored certain team compositions over others.
  • The highest tournament competition now starts at 1500 TMR instead of 1600.
  • Pansun rewards for the participants in the highest tournament competition have been increased.

  • Frightening
    • Turn duration increased from 2 5.
  • intimidator
    • Turn duration increased from 2 5.
  • Striking Transmog
    • It now only works with single-purpose techniques.

  • Talisman
    • It now negates Doom status for both the Gear holder and its ally.
  • The Horn of Shuine
    • In addition to the current effect, the type-changed techniques now deal 25% extra damage.

Techniques

  • Darkness
    • Decreased priority Ultra Very high.
    • Retention reduced 2 1.
  • Toxin Shower
    • It now targets every Temtem on the battlefield except the caster.
    • It will now apply 2 turns of dodge to the caster.
    • STA costs increased 10 15.
  • water leaf
    • Damage increased 52 64.
    • Priority increased Low Normal.
    • STA costs increased 10 15.
  • Self destruction
    • Now the rivals are hit before the Temtem using the technique faints, leading to a win for the caster in case there is a tie.
  • 👥Fixed Dojo Rematches sometimes didn’t end at Turn 30.
  • Fixed some places where Tamers could get stuck while sliding on the crystal.
  • Fixed display of a previous month on the titles for the tournaments.
  • [PS5] Fixed haptics in technique animations, even with the Haptic feedback setting disabled.
  • 👥Fixed status conditions applied to one Temtem only when a Striking Transmog Mimit used a multi-target technique that applies a Status condition.
  • Fixed caster who gained Doom status after activating the Neurotoxins trait on a Temtem with the Toxic Skin trait.
  • Fix for not seeing a Temtem as Overloaded if the ally Temtem faints during the turn after a Temtem is overloaded, and the Tamer suffers a disconnection while selecting an action for that last turn.
  • Fixed technique animations that didn’t play right after the Lava Wave VFX.
  • 👥Fixed an issue where we couldn’t navigate the TemDeck when the focus was on a Battlebox gear and then we switched to the main team.
  • Fixed focus on a message where the cursor was placed, even though the chat was opened with the keyboard or a controller.
  • Fix for not being able to enter numbers in Party menu when opening with mouse.
  • Fixed prices that were not updated in the Lair Store when it opened if another Tamer got the bonus that applies a discount to the store.
  • Fixed controller that vibrated when other players used the hook.
  • Fixed controller vibration that was too intense when the character bumped into a corner.
  • 👥Fixed Sasaya’s dojo rematch dialog which defaults to “No”.
  • Fixed egg timers are not updated if a tamer opens their team menu during a battle.
  • Fixed an issue where two animations on a Temtem’s portrait of the Tempedia overlap when hovering over it for a very short time.
  • 👥Tamers’ character model disappeared after their Temtem evaded the Rockfall technique.
  • Fixed character model Tamers disappear after using the technique Lava Wave.
  • Fixed an issue where Bright Beam would not show the damage multipliers.
  • Fixed an issue where the Minimonolith icon overlapped with the quantity in the store.
  • Being able to get stuck while fishing.
  • Fixed an issue where the fishing line would deploy for a few seconds if a Tamer canceled fishing at the same time one of the fishing alerts occurred.
  • Fixed ability to rotate your character while fishing if the mouse was used for fishing.
  • 👥Fixed Momo who only did his special interaction when a Tamer interacted with it while sitting.
  • Fixed opportunity to clip Javi Agüera’s legs in Crema’s office. That’s what he gets when he sits like this.
  • Fixed club names that appear much larger on your opponent’s map during tournaments.
  • Fixed an issue where other Tamers’ name would overlap their character if they found a ranked match while in AFK status.
  • Fixed: Out of position on the Tucma Underground map while in the Gardens of Aztlan.
  • Fix for not looking at NPCs when the Tamer looked at them sideways and waited a few seconds.
  • Fix for canceling the “watch” animation if a Tamer had direct contact with an NPC.
  • Fixed SFX in the battles of the Sacred Lake Lair which was too loud.
  • Fixed route name not displaying correctly in Tetzauyo dialog during Rock Far quest while playing in Spanish or French.
  • Fixed pronoun code shown during a dialogue with an NPC in Anak Volcano while playing in Spanish.
  • Fixed some bags that stretched after the player got up from a sitting table.
  • Fixed an issue where Lava Wave made players’ characters invisible after use.
  • Fixed Player’s Temtem is invisible for a few frames after using the Magma Cannon technique.
  • The “Exit Tournament” option has been removed from the UI when the player attends a tournament.
