Netflix TV Shows: Is Dr. Death on Netflix? Where to watch Dr. Death online – Netflix News

Recent articles

Dr. Death, the newest medical drama to make waves this TV season, isn’t the soapy Grey’s Anatomy or the heartwarming New Amsterdam. If you’re launching into this series, we suggest you buckle up because Dr. Christopher Duntsch is criminally good at gaming the medical system.

Starring Joshua Jackson in the lead role, this series takes viewers down to Dallas, Texas where a handsome and charming doctor is making a name for himself. Christopher is as smooth and charismatic as they come, flashing his pearly whites and putting his community at ease.

It’s a talent that’s led unsuspecting people to trust the man. They believe that he takes the Hippocratic Oath to heart and would never intentionally harm his patients. His operating room, however, is the stuff of nightmares for those unfortunate enough to land on his table.

Dr. Death began streaming Wednesday, July 15. Here’s more on the medical drama and how to watch the series online.

Dr. Death synopsis

The official synopsis:

Based on Wondery’s hit podcast, DR. DEATH is inspired by the terrifying true story of Dr. Christopher Duntsch (Joshua Jackson), a rising star in the Dallas medical community. Young, charismatic and ostensibly brilliant, Dr. Duntsch was building a flourishing neurosurgery practice when everything suddenly changed. Patients entered his operating room for complex but routine spinal surgeries and left permanently maimed or dead.

As victims piled up, two fellow physicians, neurosurgeon Robert Henderson (Alec Baldwin) and vascular surgeon Randall Kirby (Christian Slater), as well as Dallas prosecutor Michelle Shughart (AnnaSophia Robb), set out to stop him. DR. DEATH explores the twisted mind of Dr. Duntsch and the failures of the system designed to protect the most defenseless among us.

Where to stream Dr. Death

Unfortunately, Dr. Death isn’t available to stream on Netflix. The show is a Peacock Original. The first three episodes of the eight episode limited series are available to stream now on the platform for free, giving viewers a taste of the season.

To see the rest of Dr. Christopher Duntsch’s murder and maiming spree, and the fight to stop him, you’ll need to purchase Peacock premium. Plans start at $4.99/month.
