However, in conversation with Rotten tomatoes in a recent interview, Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige confirmed that we haven’t seen the last of Agatha Harkness in the MCU.

“One day,” Feige teased, when asked by the outlet when we could expect an Agatha performance next. “One day soon. You’ll see Kathryn Hahn in Knives from 2 next, then maybe an assortment of other things. But within the MCU, it can’t come soon enough. Let’s put it this way.”

In the comic books, Agatha is portrayed as a heroic character, who serves as a teacher and mentor to Wanda, as opposed to a villain. With that in mind, it’s certainly not inconceivable that she will continue to play the Scarlet Witch story as Wanda continues to master her powers and search for her missing children.


Marvel Studioos’ exciting new series WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany and marks the first Marvel Studios series to stream exclusively on Disney+. The series is a mix of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision – two super-powered creatures who live idealized suburban lives – begin to suspect that all is not as it seems.
