Game studio Raven Software, those who handle updates to Call of Duty Warzone, has decided to pull out the load editing feature a day after it was introduced.
The latest update to COD Warzone was the biggest balance update ever to date. It is so called because it introduced many changes to the game and not just a few. Numerous fixes, tweaks and new content were introduced.
There were some changes that weren’t written on the lengthy patch notes released yesterday. One of these was the ability to edit gear in the lobby before the match, which was a great addition for many. It gave players the option to choose what they wanted to use, such as perks and attachments before starting a match. They were usually stuck with the equipment they have when entering a competition.
Raven Software had to pull the feature out because of complications. It caused players to spawn into the game with their full gear, which would have been unfair. They should normally get that full gear via a drop, but now they arrived “fully loaded” into the match.
The developers have promised that they will re-enable the feature once they fix all the issues.
Call of Duty Warzone is now available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
