While Thor: Ragnarok certainly injected some extra craziness into the world of the God of Thunder, director Taika Waititi has promised to take things to a whole new level with his upcoming sequel Thor: Love and Thunder.
The filmmaker previously described the new film as the “craziest thing I’ve ever done,” and now Waititi has expanded on that comment during an interview with Empire Magazine.
“Well, between (me and) you and the readers, I’ve done some crazy things in my life. I have lived about ten lives. But it’s the craziest movie I’ve ever made,” Waititi said. “If you were to write down all the elements of this film, it wouldn’t make sense. It’s almost like it shouldn’t be made. When you walk into a room and say, “I want this and this and this.” Who’s in it? These people. What are you going to call it? love and thunder. I mean, you would never work again. I may not do it after this.”
“It’s very different from RagnarokWaititi promises. “It’s crazier. I’ll tell you what’s different. There is much more emotion in this film. And much more love. And many more thunderstorms. And a lot more Thor, if you’ve seen the pictures.”
