Star Wars reboot: ‘Rey returns to show off new Jedi Order’

Recent articles

Star Wars hero Rey Skywalker (Ridley) walked away from Episode Nine – The Rise of Skywalker as the only remaining Jedi in the universe. The character saved the galaxy by defeating Emperor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) and ending the Dark Side’s rule. However, Star Wars great Mike Zeroh claims she will make a triumphant return in an upcoming Disney Plus TV show.

Zeroh has often made claims about what’s to come for the Star Wars franchise, but hasn’t always been accurate – so it’s recommended that you take his reports with a grain of salt.

That said, Zeroh’s latest video has him detailing what is said to be Disney’s next big Star Wars TV show.

The YouTuber has said the new live-action TV event will show off a “major redesign” from Rey.

In addition, he added that Rey would make a “cameo appearance” but not make a “significant commitment” to the series.

The interesting thing about this report is that Rey’s cameo is reminiscent of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in the season finale of The Mandalorian.

During the episode in question, Luke arrived to rescue Mando (Pedro Pascal) and Grogu/Baby Yoda from a horde of killing machines — expanding his storyline in the process.

Zeroh said: “The series is said to be a major tease of Rey’s new Jedi Order as well.

“[It] will give fans a glimpse of what the Jedi Order will look like after Episode Nine.”

If an event similar to Luke’s cameo is planned for Rey’s story, she would usher in the beginning of a new Jedi era, rather than its end.

Zeroh added: “[Star Wars boss, Jon] Favreau would do this to give fans his version of Rey in the Star Wars universe.”

The leaker further described the upcoming event as “very unexpected”.

He added that Daisy has said she would “never return” to the series, but the British star revealed the exact opposite in an April interview.

Daisy said, “I mean, never say never. I’m always open to another visit. But the beauty is also that it’s this beautiful, huge universe with all these stories yet to be told.

“I think a lot of cool stuff needs to be done before a possible return visit.”

Daisy added: “I don’t think it will ever really feel like goodbye because it’s such an amazing little web of people.

“It’s a really nice club to be a part of. Besides, I had such a good time. I loved my experience. As for revisiting the character, I think this is a goodbye for now.”

Rey’s return has yet to be officially announced or revealed, but Disney is likely to announce a new lineup of movies and TV shows later this year.

Since The Rise of Skywalker has left many questions unanswered in its story, it’s safe to assume fans will see Rey at some point in the future.

Whether she will return alongside Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) is another question.

The Star Wars saga is now available on Disney Plus.
