The latest EA Sports event has kicked off with the launch of the official FIFA 21 Futties promotion. After removing Futties Teams from last year’s event list, the promo has returned and the first batch of players has now been confirmed.
Merging the best FUT 21 cards into a new bundle, the Best of Batch 1 can now be found in-game and includes the following players:
- N’Golo Kante (What if)
- Kevin De Bruyne (TOTY)
- Karim Benzema (Headliners)
- Mohammed Salah (UCL)
- Sadio Mane (freeze)
- Raheem Sterling
- Claudio Reyna (Future Stars)
- Kylian Mbappe (record breakers)
- Harry Kane (Halloween)
- Ciro Immobile (TOTY Honorable Merit)
- Luis Suarez (OTW)
This is the first batch made available by EA Sports, with two more batches scheduled to be released during the event.
And for those looking to catch up with this year’s event, here’s what FIFA fans can expect in the coming weeks:
“FIFA fans will help decide which popular FUT player items will receive special boosted FUTTIES winner items.
“For 24 hours on certain days during the campaign, players will find a Player Pick pack available in their account when they log in. Each player pick shows loan versions of 2 FUTTIES nominees. The player you select gets your vote.
“The FUTTIES nominee who gets the most votes will be released that week via Squad Building Challenge as an upgraded FUTTIES winner item.
“Nominees who fail to win their respective votes will be eligible for FUTTIES “Close Call” Player SBCs by the end of the campaign.”
FUTTIES voting is also enabled through the FUT Team Events feature available in the Objectives menu.
At the start of the FUTTIES campaign, you can select one of two FUTTIES nominees during the Active Team Event. The FUTTIES nominee you select will be the one you cast your official vote for.
And that’s not all: EA Sports decides that each weekend will also feature FUTTIES Favorite Player SBCs themed around a specific month and a popular FUT Player item from that period in the cycle.
During FUTTIES, eligible players will have the opportunity to claim reward packs based on their involvement in FUT 21.
FIFA fans have the full duration of FUTTIES to log in to FUT and claim their first reward packs if they qualify to receive them.
A message from EA Sports added: “There are 2 additional opportunities to earn rewards based on how many times you log in over the course of the FUT 21 FUTTIES campaign.
“These rewards are determined based on the number of FUT session days (defined as a minimum of one login to FIFA Ultimate Team or the FIFA Ultimate Team Companion app during a 24-hour period) that you collect.”
