Tim Sweeney Impressed With Valve’s Move With Steam Deck

Recent articles

Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney recently took to social media to praise the unveiling of the latest PC handheld Steam Deck.

In a recent post from Sweeney on his personal Twitter account, he praised Valve for its “great move” in announcing the PC handheld. He stated that it runs on SteamOS and that it is an open platform where users can easily install software. They can even install Windows and other stores they wanted.

This may be a strange statement from the CEO of Epic Games, as it has gone out of its way to win studios to invest in their platform to give Steam a boost. He did say that users are free to install any type of software or other stores on the PC handheld, so he might suggest installing the Epic Games Store app there as well.

It’s also possible that Tim Sweeney and his company are still working on the pending lawsuit against Apple. Or he’s just so impressed with what Valve has done.

Do you want to buy a Steam Deck soon? You might have trouble with that, as it sold out pretty quickly.
