Apex Legends Season 10, titled “Emergence”, will be released early next month, and Respawn Entertainment/Respawn Vancouver have revealed early details about what players can expect. As usual, we get a new legend, the mysterious seer, who was born under a ‘bad omen’ and was banned for his eerie glowing eyes. You can check out Seer’s cool African art inspired animated story trailer below.
In terms of powers, Seer can use advanced microdrones, and rumor has it that he will have the ability to gather unique information about opponents and unleash some kind of AoE attack. Expect to learn more about the new Legend’s capabilities, including his weapon and Ultimate, in the coming weeks. Here’s a bit more about what’s in Apex Legends: Emergence…
- New legend: Seer – A bad omen casts a shadow over Obi’s birth: will his light survive and emerge from the darkness? With microdrones and an artist’s eye, Seer sees opportunities that other Legends may miss, and seizes them in the most beautiful way he can.
- World’s Edge map update – World’s Edge is on the cusp of some big changes… stay tuned.
- New Weapon: Rampage LMG – Meet Rampart’s latest invention, the Rampage LMG, with a surprising source of firepower.
- Ranked Arenas – Prove you’re an Apex Predator for the first time in Arenas or Battle Royale. Or show you are the ultimate champion by conquering both.
Not the biggest season, but Seer looks cool and ranked Arenas are a welcome addition. Of course, Apex Legends: Emergence also offers a new battle pass, premium skins, and a season of ranked play, but Respawn hasn’t given any details on that yet.
Apex Legends is available now on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch and can be played via backwards compatibility on Xbox Series X/S and PS5. The Emergence season starts on August 3.
