Gamescom 2021 attendees include Bandai Namco and Sega

There was a big announcement for Gamescom regarding the participants in the upcoming show in 2021. The organizations leading the event, Koelnmesse and the German Games Industry Association (GGIA), have unveiled 19 new partners with more to follow. This year’s event will be purely digital and will begin on August 25, 2021 and close on August 27, 2021 (CEST).

Koelnmesse and GGIA usually hold annual Gamescom in Cologne, Germany. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be digital and free as it was in 2020. Partners from previous years such as Nintendo did not show up in 2020 and are missing from the current list.

Here’s the full list of developers and publishers announced for Gamescom 2021.

In addition to the companies announced, Gamescom is advertising “80 curated top indie titles” that will be showcased on virtual booths, which are now integrated into Gamescom. The organization will make further announcements about its participants at the end of July 2021.

Gamescom 2021 and its participants will appear fully online as the event runs from August 25, 2021 to August 27, 2021 (CEST).
