No Time To Die hits theaters in a few months and James Bond fans are looking forward to the end of Daniel Craig’s 007 journey. After the epic finale, Craig is replaced by another actor who will play the legendary spy, but he’s not quite announced yet. Despite this, the odds are certainly in favor of one actor in particular: Regé-Jean Page.
Page first came on fans’ radar over Christmas earlier this year, when Bridgerton debuted on Netflix.
The British-Zimbabwe actor played the Duke of Hastings, the main heartthrob for the series.
Since then, his chances have improved dramatically, with Ladbrokes now giving him a whopping 4/5 chances to become the next Bond.
His popularity means he has knocked another favorite off the ladder: Tom Hardy.

Next James Bond: Tom Hardy was the favorite for a long time
It was rumored that Hardy had already been cast as the next James Bond last year.
His chances continued to improve until Page got on the scene.
Currently, the Venom actor has an impressive 9/2 chance of donning the tuxedo.
Ladbrokes’ Alex Apati said: “Regé-Jean Page is clearly the one to beat in the race to replace Daniel Craig as 007, with every other name in the bet now being 9/2 or greater.”

Apati added: “When he was once a firm favorite in betting, Tom Hardy’s odds have dropped significantly in recent months.
“It now looks increasingly likely that he will not take over Daniel Craig.”
Hardy is followed by fellow Briton James Norton, who is best known for his appearance on the TV show McMafia.
Norton has 5/1 to go after Craig Bond, but his chances are also constantly diminishing as the months go by.

Norton is followed by Beauty and the Beast actor Luke Evans.
Best known for his role in the Lord of the Rings series, Evans is a last-minute addition to the bet after confessing he’d “love” to take on Bond next.
The Welsh star currently has 6/1 to become the next British spy.
Whoever takes over from Craig has some big shoes to fill.
Craig recently spoke about how he brought his series to a satisfying conclusion along with Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson.
Speaking to Empire, the actor said: “We started talking about it and I said, ‘There might be a story we need to finish here – something we started in Casino. [Royale]. Something about Vesper and Spectre, and something connected in some way.” It started to formulate. And I thought, ‘Here we go.’”
He added: “[Bond] doesn’t feel like other people because he is a murderer. At Casino [Royale]he loses the love of his life, and then the shutters go down.
“On Quantum [Of Solace], the flawed movie that it is, it’s about revenge. And Skyfall is about M. It’s about loss. They are big themes. And I think, ‘Yes! Why not big themes?’”
James Bond No Time To Die will hit theaters on September 30, 2021.
