Nintendo denies claim that Nintendo Switch OLED model profit margin would increase

Nintendo’s corporate account recently posted a statement on its social media account regarding a recent claim about the Nintendo Switch OLED.

Nintendo Corporation’s official Twitter account recently announced in a statement that it has denied media outlet Bloomberg’s claims. It has been reported that the Switch OLED actually only cost about $10 more to produce, meaning it made a big profit margin for Nintendo, which the game company quickly debunked. It even wrote the announcement in English with most posts in Japanese. This meant that they needed this statement to reach everyone around the world to calm fears.

In a next post, the game company reiterated that the OLED model will be launched in October 2021 and has stated firmly that there are no plans to launch other models at the moment. This destroys hopes for the “Nintendo Switch Pro” that everyone wanted.

Could the OLED model with that new statement from Nintendo rival the newly announced Steam Deck? Give us your predictions.
