Sucker Punch and Sony Revealed New Details About Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut And Its Iki Island Expansion In A New PlayStation blog entry and trailer. In addition to offering a closer look at the new location, it hinted and things Jin Sakai will be going through when he visits. It also revealed that the next major antagonist in Ghost of Tsushima will be the Mongolian Ankhsar “The Eagle” Khatun.
The Khatun and shaman Ankhsar Khatun leads the Mongols on the island of Iki. That means Jin will meet new adversaries and muster new allies to fight against her and her troops. As Jin explores, he learns more about his family and discovers new techniques.
Here’s the new one Ghost of Tsushima trailer focused on Iki Island and the introduction of Ankhsar Khatun. It starts with Jin noting that he needs to go to the island to face the Mongols and ‘The Eagle’. (His horse accompanies him, of course.) After lightning strikes the boat, he is captured and taken to The Eagle himself. It then shows some of the allies and enemies that humans will meet.
Ghost of Tsushima is available for the PlayStation 4. The Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut with Iki Island expansion is coming to PS4 and PS5 on August 20, 2021.
