Ubisoft has released a new hero, Kyoshin, in For Honor with the latest patch. Along with the hero, they made several other changes to the game, which can be seen in the patch notes detailed by Ubisoft. For more information on this, see below.

NEW HERO – KYOSHIN

The Kyoshin are legendary samurai who have a deep connection to the spiritual realms. Through their special training, they learned to master the art of fighting with a hidden blade, the Shikomizue. As they flow through the battle with their swords and scabbards, they use heavenly powers to gain the upper hand against the enemy. Their special Kaze stance can block incoming attacks and allow them to retaliate quickly.

IMPROVEMENTS

USER ENVIRONMENT

· Properties menu changes:

o New tile icon

o The ‘Gender’ tab (in English) has been changed to ‘Body Type’

o Default body type (and associated voice) appears as “1” on the screen; if an alternate option is available, it will show as “2”

Developer comments: These changes only affect the user interface; heroes still have the same amount of customization options as before.

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Hitokiri to have the wrong animation during Side Dodge Heavy Chain (FH-1569)

Jormungandr

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where the Jormungandr had a sliding dodge animation after a feint (FH-537)

Zhanhu

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Zhanhu right side Heavy to have the wrong animation when executed after a right parry

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that prevented heroes from taking damage when running in the middle of “Arrow Strike” (FH-1266)

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where the player could bypass the collisions and exit the world in multiple locations near Capture Point C

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where a visual glitch was displayed on the right side of Hero (FH-1873)

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where a field of view change from 87 to 90 caused floating banners to appear in the background (FH-1770)

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue where the Respawn timers for both teams would disappear when either team entered breaking, although non-breaking players were still able to respawn (FH-1402)

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that prevented the director’s “Megaera Chest” piece from having a physics simulation

· [Bug Fix] Fixed an issue that caused the Jormungandr’s “Eclipse” event weapon parts to move backwards (FH-1387)
