HSBC internet banking seems to be suffering from a malfunction this morning
Thousands of HSBC customers have complained about problems with the mobile banking app via social media. Available on Android and iPhone, the application allows customers to check their balances, transfer funds, make payments, schedule standing orders and more. However, due to an unknown issue, thousands are unable to log in to access their bank accounts.
HSBC has not revealed the cause of the problem. According to the independent website DownDetector, which tracks the performance of online applications using public complaints on social media, more than 1,000 HSBC customers have been affected in the past few minutes.
