Bandai Namco has announced an online event”Stories of Reading Live” with the cast of Tales of fate reading scenes from the game. It will also feature new events and dialogues that Bandai Namco wrote especially for the live lecture. The Tales of fate live reading event will be broadcast on September 19, 2021. In addition, the Tales of Fantasyanta live lecture will be broadcast on December 11, 2021. [Thanks, Dengeki Online!]
Apart from a live reading from Tales of fate, the Tales of Reading Live will have a talking corner for the voice actors. Voice actor Ryohei Kimura (who did not appear in Tales of fate but Sorey agrees Stories of Zestiria) will also be present as MC. The six voice actors who will perform are:
- Hikaru Midorikawa (Leon Magnus)
- Kikuko Inoue (Filia Felice)
- Naoko Watanabe (Chelsea torn)
- Shou Hayami (Woodrow “Garr” Kelvin)
- Tomokazu Seki (Stahn aileron)
- Yuka Komatsu (Rutee Katrea)
Komatsu replaces Yuka Imai, Rutee’s original voice actress. Imai retired from voice acting in 2018.
tickets are available on the Tales of Reading Live website, starting at 3500 JPY ($32). There is also a special ticket for JPY 4800 ($44). It allows customers to watch exclusive videos before and after the live lecture. These include cast comments, as well as the voice actors talking about favorite scenes.
In addition to this event, Bandai Namco will release a Mothership compilation Blu-ray and a major spin-off Stories from openings. Obviously, like the two more prominent titles in the series, Tales of Fantasyanta and Tales of fate‘s openings are on the Blu-ray.
