Fortnite update 17.21 is out today and Epic Games has provided some teasers on what to expect.

Today’s Season 7 patch will probably be a little smaller than others, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be new content in it.

The new Grab-Itron weapon is expected to be part of the new update, which will give fans access to new abilities.

This means that you can grab and throw things, and you can rotate through a selection of items.

The Grab-Itron will reportedly be available through Supply Drops, Floor, and Chest Loots, as well as The Mothership Legendary Chest.

There are also other rumors that a new Fortnite event will be held this weekend.

It’s unclear what this will entail, but with reports that there will be an Ariana Grande concert in the future, things could be revealed very soon.

Epic Games has also shared more about wraps, meaning there may be a few more coming our way.

“You’ve put your wraps on your weapons and powerboats, but now it’s time to put them on yourself,” explains a post from Epic Games.

“The Show Your Style Set marks the debut of Wrappables. Outfits, Back Blings and Pickaxes in the Set can be edited to reflect all of your Wraps, and you can even mix and match them. Do you want the Magma Wrap on your outfit and the Frosty Glow Wrap on your Back Bling? Go for it.

“The “primary color” of the items below can also be edited. For the Outfits, this affects their hair color and parts of their clothing.

“All players who purchase at least one of the Wrappable Outfits – now or when they are in the Item Shop in the future – will receive the new Pixellator Wrap for free.”

And as mentioned above, Fortnite update 17.21 will be available to download and play after today’s scheduled server maintenance.

The full game experience will be offline for at least an hour this morning, but may take longer on all platforms.

Fortnite server downtime scheduled for today is set for Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at 8:30 a.m. BST.

For gamers in the United States, this means maintenance from 3:30 a.m. EDT on the same day.

No one should wait for the servers to come back, as all platforms will come back online at the same time.

And while Epic Games hasn’t given an exact time when servers will be back online, they’ve confirmed how long it could take.

According to the official Fortnite site, maintenance can take up to four hours, meaning everything should be back online by 1:00 PM BST.

More news, including official patch notes, is expected to be shared during today’s Fortnite maintenance.
