Pokémon Unite Adds Embrace Ranged Attacker Pokémon “Gardevoir” Tomorrow

“Gardevoir”, the Embrace Pokémon will be added to the Pokémon Unite roster tomorrow.

The MOBA has only been out for a week, but TiMI Studio and The Pokémon Company are already adding a new ranged attacker to the roster. As announced Gardevoir will be available tomorrow via the game’s official Twitter account. A short gameplay video of Gardevoir in action can be found below:

First introduced in Generation III, Gardevoir is a dual-type Psychic/Fairy Pokémon, evolving from Kirlia (the evolution of Ralts).

“It has the power to predict the future”, Gardevoir .’s description is reading on the official Pokémon website. “Its strength peaks when it protects its Trainer.”

Pokémon Unite was first announced in June of last year. The cross-platform MOBA is now available worldwide on Nintendo Switch, and the game will launch on mobile devices in September.

In Pokémon UNITE, players compete in 5-on-5 team battles. During these battles, players team up with teammates to defeat wild Pokémon and level up to evolve their own Pokémon. They must defeat their opponents’ Pokémon while trying to earn more points than the other team within the allotted time.

Pokémon UNITE will be available on mobile devices in September 2021. Cross-platform play between Nintendo Switch and mobile devices is planned, allowing players on both platforms to compete together and against each other. In addition, if you log in with your Nintendo Account or Pokémon Trainer Club account, you can use your game data on any device. Pokémon UNITE is free to start, with optional in-game purchases.
