Several people have confirmed that the first multiplayer technical preview of Halo Infinite will take place this weekend.
Eurogamer media outlet confirmed by their sources who received the emails that game developer 343 will be doing the preview runs from tomorrow, July 29 to August 1, 2021.
The media outlet revealed that the email contains the instructions for downloading the pre-release build. It will be sent via email and Waypoint message in the coming days. This means it will be exclusive to them only, but we should get some details later.
The technical preview will focus on bots and the Academy’s weapons exercises. Halo Infinite will be the franchise’s first title to feature multiplayer bots. With the technical previews, 343 Industries will collect information to monitor bot behavior and online performance.
The results of the research from the previews are then used for the Bot Arena playlist. Four players compete against four bots on arena maps. The technical preview will use three maps: Bazaar, Recharge and Live Fire.
Halo Infinite tech preview is coming this evening, July 28, 2021 at 2 p.m. PT.
