EA Server Status – FIFA 22 beta affected by issues, connectivity issues reported
FIFA down reports are pouring in today, with EA fans reporting server issues that hit as the gaming giant launched its highly anticipated FIFA 22 beta. Independent Failure Monitor Down Detector has registered a spike in both FIFA down and EA down reports. The spike in FIFA and EA server down reports started today around 6pm BST (Thurs 12th August), the date the FIFA 22 beta was set to launch.
At the time of writing, Down Detector UK and downdetector.com have logged hundreds of FIFA down and EA down reports.
When the FIFA beta issues hit 22, EA fans took to Twitter to report the issues they were facing.
One tweeted: “Broooo are the FIFA 22 servers out? I can’t play anything”.
While another posted “FIFA 22 beta servers down”.
One added: “Waiting all day for the Fifa 22 Beta, just until the servers are down”.
And another posted: “The FIFA 22 beta servers may not be available, but at least the tunes are groovy”.
In the wake of the reported issues with the FIFA 22 beta emerging, the EA Help Twitter account confirmed that they were aware of the issues and were investigating them.
In response to a gamer, @EAHelp posted on Twitter: “Hi, thank you for taking the time to contact us about the FIFA 22 Beta.
“The team is aware that players will not be able to access the beta modes and is currently investigating this. For now, we kindly ask that you take the time to investigate this. We apologize for the inconvenience.”
FIFA 22 beta down reports pour in on Down Detector
The reported EA server issues come on the same day that Madden 22 players also experienced technical issues.
The EA Help Twitter wrote earlier today: “Our team is working on a number of technical issues with the Madden NFL 22 EA Play Early Access Trial on select platforms.
“We will update as soon as possible, thanks.”
