Outriders has been updated to version 1.12 by People Can Fly today. You can find the full patch notes for this update here.
This patch addresses a variety of issues and provides improvements to most weapons, weapon and armor mods, and so on. You can also check out the issues the developers are currently tracking in the game. All this information has been shared by the developers on reddit.

Patch Notes Notes
- Crash Solutions
- Improved multiplayer so that rubberbanding and packet loss are now reduced for players under 350ms
- The Anti-duplication system will no longer consider your equipped items when checking if a dropped duplicate needs to be re-thrown.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Pyromancer thermische thermal bomb to lose all charges and cool down completely if a player was interrupted while sheathing the skill
- Improved targeting of the Trickster’s Venator’s Knife so it now has to target a player’s intended enemy more consistently.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Trickster’s Hunt the Prey to not turn the player to an enemy’s back if he aims at crosshairs immediately after activation
- the repaired Borealis Monarch Set from Technomancer so it now correctly assigns the 90% damage increase to frozen targets
- Note: The bonus set must apply to all frozen targets, regardless of how they were frozen.
- Fixed an issue with the Devastator’s Statue Set and changed the description to match the behavior
- The new description is:
- While Tremor or Golem is active, increase the firepower by 100% and the Weapon Life Leech by 100% for you and your teammates
- The old description was:
- Using Tremor or Golem increases firepower by 100% and Weapon Life Leech by 100% for you and your teammates
- The old functionality meant that the Statue set bonus could end after 8 seconds. Reworking this set means that the bonus can now be kept longer.
- The new description is:
- Fixed an issue that caused mods with a low damage threshold to activate immediately after death or after respawning.
- Fixed an issue where level 50 players could appear as level 1 during a party. Please note that this issue may still be visible in the lobby.
- Fixed some out of sync subtitles
Improvements
pyromancer
- Feed the flames
- The ammunition replenished by the Bullet Absorption mod has been increased to 40% (previously: 33%)
- Volcanic Rounds
- Susceptibility mod’s resistance debuff has been increased to 50% (previously: 34%)
- The “Reload Boost” and “Lava Shots” Mods have their perks swapped.
- Reload Boost now increases Anomaly Power (previously: Firepower)
- Lava Shots will now increase firepower (formerly: Anomaly Power)
- Ash Blast
- Ash blast reduced the base skill cooldown by 4 seconds, from 27.5 to 23.5 seconds
- The Death Sentence mod’s buff duration has been increased by 3 seconds, from 5 to 8 seconds

- Borrowed time
- Reduced the cool down time of borrowed time by 5.5 seconds, from 13.5 seconds to 8 seconds
- slow fall
- Slow Trap’s cooldown has been reduced by 9.7 seconds, from 30.7 seconds to 21 seconds
- Time difference
- Time Rift’s cooldown has been reduced by 3.4 seconds, from 15.4 seconds to 12 seconds
- Increased the DOT damage of the “A Little Bit of Pain” mod by 71% (from base 0.35 AP to 0.6 AP)
- Reduce the DOT duration of the “A Little Bit Of Pain” mod to 6 seconds (previously: 10)
- Increased the armor and resistance debuff of the mod “Time Crack” to 35% (previously: 25%)
- The weapon gap damage of the “Pain Transfer” mod increased to 20% weapon damage (previously: 10% weapon damage)
Technomancer
- Pain starter
- Pain Launcher’s base cooldown decreased by 10 seconds, from 40 seconds to 30 seconds
- Scrapnel
- Reduced Scrapnel’s base cooldown by 5 seconds, from 22 seconds to 17 seconds
- Increased Scrapnel’s base damage by 19% (from base 0.756 AP to 0.9AP)
- cryo-turret
- The Hail Shot mod has its SPF set to 1.5 (previously: 1)
- SPF determines how much this mod benefits from the Status Power attribute. This change basically means that Hail Shot’s damage gain will increase by 50%, although the effectiveness of this improvement still depends on the character’s Status Power attribute.

Destroyer
- boulderdash
- Using the skill now provides a significant (65%) damage reduction during the animation
- Players can now press the trigger again to use an AOE attack during the run animation
- endless mass
- Enemies hit by Endless Mass can now be damaged and killed during the animation
- Changed the “Wide Horizons” mod so that, on top of the range increase, the mod will allow Endless Mass to override the enemy “Absorbing Skin” ability used by Alpha Perforos and Brood Mothers
- Reflect bullets
- Terminating the skill early will now refund part of the cooldown period (up to 90%)
- Universal improvements
Armor Mod buffs
- Personal Space damage bonus is increased from 15% to 25%
- Critstack will increase his Anomaly Power boost by 21% (from base 5.79 to 7)
- At Stand Tall, the base Firepower bonus is increased by 20% and the base Anomaly Power by 16%. (From base level 10 Firepower and 15 Anomaly Power to 12 Firepower and 17.5 Anomaly Power)
- Perseverance Shield will increase the value of the base shield by 40% (from base 25 to 35)
- Note: This patch also fixes a bug where Perseverance Shield could activate and grant a shield after death
- Blazing Aegis will increase the armor it grants by 21% (from base 46.35 to 56)
- Plate Dodger’s armor rating is increased by 12% (from base 58 to 65) and duration increased from 5 seconds to 7 seconds.
Weapon Mod buffs
- Anomaly Enhancement will increase its co-efficiency from 30% Anomaly Power to 40%.
- Bone Shard will increase its damage by 5% (from base 56.7 to 59.85)

Note 1: This is not an exhaustive list of things being worked on. This is also not a list of patch notes for the next patch. Upcoming patches will fix issues that may not be listed here.
Note 2: “Investigated” means that we have successfully reproduced an issue in our development environment and are currently investigating the root causes of the issue. If we haven’t been able to reproduce a specific issue yet, it may not be listed here, but that doesn’t mean we don’t know about it.
- State Stadia
- Stadia has yet to be aligned with other platforms regarding fixes, bug resolutions, and crossplay support.
- We continue to do this work to align all platforms, but don’t have a firm date yet when this will be possible.
- We appreciate that this work is taking longer than expected and we apologize for this.
- Matchmaking privacy settings can set themselves to Open without player input
- Issue is being investigated and will be fixed in a future patch
- Xbox login issues
- Our latest patch has significantly increased sign-up times for the vast majority of players. However, a small number of players seem to be affected by a secondary issue, allowing them to use “alternate account login” workarounds.
- We are investigating this matter and are in contact with some affected users to investigate their accounts to identify the issue
- Mods and resources may be lost
- This problem seems to be quite rare, making it very difficult for us to reproduce and identify the cause.
- For anyone affected by this, we recommend contacting our Square Enix Support Team (sqex.to/support), who now have the right tools to give you specific mods and resources that you may have lost. Our support team may also collect appropriate information to assist us in our investigation.
- Sprinting with your Sprint option set to Hold (instead of Toggle) may cause the player character to drift to the side
- Entering the reclaimed lake during the third enemy encounter in the Scorched Lands expedition may cause client players to stutter
- Issue is currently under investigation and will be fixed in a future patch
- Certain enemies, especially alphas, can escape from Frozen CC once damaged
- The game falters when there are multiple crawlers on the screen, especially during certain expeditions
- Issue is currently under investigation and will be fixed in a future patch
- Certain Mods don’t work (properly or consistently), especially when you’re the customer during multiplayer sessions
- Pending issue after multiplayer improvements
- Grand Opening Mod (and other mods) may not activate when a player uses their last magazine
- Issue is currently under investigation and will be fixed in a future patch
- Using the Tier 3 Armor Mod “Pain Transfer” with either the Tier 2 or the Tier 3 “Damage Link” mod drastically reduces the frame rate.
- Tricksters may not be able to revive others or may be revived themselves in multiplayer if they use borrowed time in expeditions
- Issue under investigation.
- Technomancer’s Plague Sower Set doesn’t apply its bonus consistently.
- Technomancer turrets can fall through the ground
- Problem is being investigated
- There are a few different causes for this, including map-specific areas (Mountain Outpost) and specific conditions (such as aiming too close to your own feet).
- Journal entries/collections do not appear on secondary characters
- Issue is being re-examined
- ‘Damage Blocked’ stat on expedition results screen sometimes appears inconsistently or abnormally low
- Issue is currently under investigation
- A cutscene during “The Mentor” Questline may not activate, meaning players will not be able to progress beyond this point

- Workaround: In your lobby, change your story checkpoint to an earlier checkpoint and try this quest again.
