Heavily modified Fallout 4 ‘remastered’ with over 200 mods makes Bethesda’s 2015 title look like a different game

Here’s something Fallout 4 fans will love: a heavily modified version of the game that makes Bethesda’s RPG look like an all-new game.

Last week we reported on a video from Digital Dreams showing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim with over 500 mods. As a result, the 2011 RPG looked like a current-generation title in 4K resolution, complete with ray-tracing effects.

Now YouTuber ‘Ded String’ has uploaded a new Fallout 4 video featuring the 2015 PC version of the game with over 200 active mods. The result is stunning and frankly, it almost seems like we’re looking at a completely different game.

Interested in which mods were used? Well, the creator of the uploaded video his mod list to Modwatch. For example, interested parties can use this list to try out Fallout 4 ‘Remastered’ on their own PC.

Fallout 4 was released in 2015 for PC and last-gen consoles. The title was officially unveiled at that year’s E3 event.

“We know what this game means to everyone,” said game director Todd Howard when announcing the game in 2015. “Time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game and we can’t wait to share it.”

Upon its release, Bethesda managed to sell 12 million units worldwide, with the Pip-Boy edition of the game selling out within hours.
