TO UPDATE: The Back 4 Blood Open Beta has begun, but gamers are reporting issues connecting to servers and logging into the game on PS4, Xbox, and PC platforms.

So while the Back 4 Blood servers may be out of service for some, there’s a good chance they’ll run into stability issues tonight.

ORIGINAL: The Back 4 Blood open beta launches today, complete with all the modes and content available during early access.

The only thing gamers have noticed is that the game is currently in maintenance mode on all platforms.

This includes PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, but it’s nothing to worry about.

Back 4 Blood maintenance is scheduled to end at 8pm BST, which should result in all servers being powered up.

And the only time Back 4 Blood maintenance can start over is when servers run into trouble.

The Back 4 Blood open beta will run all weekend and will end on Monday, August 16 at approximately 8pm BST.

For gamers in North America, the same beta will end earlier at 12:00 PM PDT due to the time difference.

The new beta is expected to feature the same content as the early access version that went live earlier this month.

The big difference will be that anyone who has a compatible device to play the game will be able to do so.

Console gamers needn’t worry about PS Plus and Xbox Live subscriptions, as neither is necessary, according to the Back 4 Blood site.

During the open beta, fans will have access to a number of maps and modes, some with certain restrictions.

Not all of the final content will be available to play later this week, so there will be plenty of surprises for those who buy the full version.
