For those of you who haven’t played The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt yet, it’s time to start your adventure on PS Now.

Sony has confirmed that the popular RPG will be retired from service next month to make way for new PS4 games.

It’s one of several games to leave the service in September 2021, but it’s easily the biggest name of the bunch.

The Witcher 3 has been available on PS Now for three months now, the shortest time available for a game to come out.

Another big game that will disappear in September is Borderlands 3; however, this is not scheduled for the end of the month.

This means that anyone wanting to try out the popular looter shooter has a full month left to do so.

Meanwhile, The Witcher 3 will disappear from the PS Now library on September 6, complete with all the additional content that has been made available.

Moving on, Judgment will leave PlayStation Now on October 4, while Streets of Rage 4 and Red Dead Redemption 2 will disappear in November.

For now, we don’t know which new games will replace The Witcher 3 this month, but we do have a good idea when the news will be shared.

With the new PS Now games expected to arrive on September 7, we can hear more about what’s to come on August 30.

Failing that, Sony may have to wait until September 6 to finalize their plans, in conjunction with the launch of the next PS Plus games.

We also know that Sony is currently only launching PS4 games on the PlayStation Now service, which excludes the inclusion of PS5 games.

Most of the titles are cross-gen, but some, like Demon Souls, will remain exclusive to PlayStation 5 and next-gen.

Sony guarantees that at least one indie game will be added to the PS Now library every month in addition to other PS4 games.

Last month, Sony added Undertale as the official September indie game, with no takedown date associated with it.

This went live alongside Nier: Automata and Ghostrunner, with full descriptions for each game below:
