PS Plus September free games news
Gamers are expected to find out that the lineup of free games for the PS Plus September 2021 Predator Hunting Grounds, Hitman 2 and Overcooked!
The reveal is slated for later today and gamers should know everything by 4:30pm BST.
And coincidentally, one of the new PS4 games that are said to be released for free as part of PS Plus has been updated with new content.
Not only do fans have access to new paid DLC, but they can also enjoy some free upgrades.
This new patch arrived a week earlier than Predator: Hunting Grounds is expected to be released by Sony on September 7.
A message from the Hunting Grounds team reveals: “We are excited to bring both a paid DLC and a free update to the community this month.
Joining the powerful Yautja race for this month’s Paid DLC character, Cleopatra brings a passion to collect trophies from only the most worthy. In this month’s free update, Isabelle’s tapes can now be unlocked and friendly Fireteam bots join the battle in the jungle .
“This month’s free update brings the NRV-E (Unlock at Level 100) to all players. In addition, we are expanding the knowledge of the universe again with additional tapes. Have you wondered what Isabelle has been up to, where she has been or how she got back to Earth?
“There are now unlocked four-level tapes where Isabelle tells her story (unlocks at 1, 10, 20, 40). The community has been asking for it and we’ve been working hard on it, we’re so excited to bring friendly Fireteam Bots to the jungle to bring.
“These Fireteam Bot members will fight alongside you in the jungle. They’ll also play a supporting role by throwing ammo and health packs when you’re running low.
“They’ll revive you if you’re knocked down, and if you’re killed, you can take over a Bot with your gear. Now you’ll never have to go into the jungle alone again.”
According to a post on French site Dealabs, the September 2021 PS Plus lineup will include Overcooked! All You Can Eat for PS5, Hitman 2 for PS4 and Predator: Hunting Grounds also for PS4.
What’s interesting about this rumor, however, is that French gaming forum moderators have reportedly verified this information – otherwise it would have been quickly removed.
So it looks like PlayStation fans have been able to find out early on which games will be included in the next PS Plus lineup.
If you like the sound of this lineup and you’re not a PS Plus member – or need to renew your subscription – there are a number of offers right now for you to take advantage of.
And until the new games are released, anyone with a PlayStation Plus subscription will be able to download the current lineup, including Hunter’s Arena: Legends, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, Tennis World Tour 2.
