According to the British newspaper The Sun, phones running Android 4.0.4 and earlier will no longer be compatible with the requirements of WhatsApp, which also applies to devices running iOS 9 and earlier. .

The list of phones includes: Samsung with the versions “Galaxy S3 mini”, “Trend II”, “Trend Lite”, “Core” and “Ace 2”.

As for LG phones, the list will include Optimus F7, F5, L3 II dual, F7 II and F5 II models.

WhatsApp will not work on Sony Xperia, as well as on Huawei Ascend Mate and Ascend D2.

Finally, even the iPhones of the “SE”, “6s” and “6s Plus” models will not be able to run the application.

And WhatsApp recently launched a new service that will help people who switch phones from time to time.

And tech news site “The Verge” said users will be able to transfer conversation logs, including voice messages, photos, and videos, when they switch phones from iOS to Android.

In the first phase, which will take place in the coming weeks, this service will concern the transfer of records from the “iOS” phones to the new “Samsung”, “Ze Flip 3” and “Ze Fold 3” phones.

In the second phase, the service will cover transfers between the phones of the two systems, but it is unclear when this service will be available for all phones.
