Aegis Rim achieves next sales milestone in Japan

The one that was praised by fans and critics 13 sentries: Aegis Rim can celebrate a new sales milestone today. In Japan alone, 200,000 copies have now been delivered or sold digitally. Atlus and developer Vanillaware announced this.

The latest globally reported figures are slightly older. Last March there were 400,000 units. Another figure: In April 2020 – before release in the West – it stood at 130,000 copies. Even at a fairly low level, one can speak of long-seller qualities in Japan.

13 Sentinels was praised from all sides and was even prestigiously nominated for the award in the “Best Narrative” category at The Game Awards 2020. On the other hand, the sales figures seem manageable, even though 13 Sentinels remains a niche title.
