More Legendary Weapons, Armor, and Exotic will be available today in Destiny 2, courtesy of Xur.

Bungie may have big plans for Destiny 2 in the coming months leading up to The Witch Queen, but Guardians can rest assured that Xur won’t be leaving anytime soon.

The return of the Agent of the Nine remains one of the few consistent events that continues each week, and September 10 will prove to be no different.

Xur’s return is scheduled for today and he will remain until the weekly reset on September 14.

And just like last week, Xur is expected to return with an assortment of Legendary and Exotic items, for sale with Legendary Shards.

Last week, Xur sold piles of stuff, and Guardians hope the revamped lineup will last through Season 15.

Xur sold these items last week: Hard Light Energy Auto Rifle for 29 Legendary Shards, Graviton Forfeit Hunter Helmet for 23 Legendary Shards, Peregrine Greaves Titan Leg Armor for 23 Legendary Shards, and the Contraverse Hold Warlock Gloves for 23 Legendary Shards.

Legendary Weapons: Dire Promise Primary Hand Cannon, Gnawing Hunger Energy Auto Rifle, Cold Denial Primary Pulse Rifle, Distant Tumulus Energy Sniper Rifle, Wishbringer Energy Shotgun, Seventh Seraph SAW Heavy Machine Gun, Trinary System Energy Fusion Rifle.

Xur returns to one of his usual haunts at 6pm BST, taking in notable locations such as Nessus, The Tower and the EDZ on Earth.

For those who may have forgotten, Legendary Shards used by Xur are remnants of powerful items used to improve equipment or exchange it for other gear.

It should also be noted that Xur will drop items that are similar in power level to your character.

And another part of Xur that’s new in the latest version of Destiny 2 is that he’s now dropping Cipher Quests for free.

The Quest will reward you with an exotic number, and last week involved completing 21 Strikes or winning the same number of Crucible or Gambit matches.

Each week, Guardians can acquire one Exotic Engram using Legendary Shards that are decoded as Exotics not yet in your collection.

Another long-running activity returns to Destiny 2 this weekend alongside Xur and his loot.

The Trials of Osiris will be back in the mix for the first time during Season 15, and it will offer a new range of loot.

A message from Bungie explains: “This season, Trials is bringing a new Legendary Linear Fusion Rifle to Destiny’s loot table. Introducing Reed’s Regret, pack some Stasis damage and the ability to create fun perk combos such as Triple Tap and Vorpal Weapon. Combined with the Particle Deconstruction Artifact Mod, this is a weapon you don’t want to miss.”

“Saint-14 has revamped its vendor inventory, giving Guardians the ability to target additional roles on loot they previously acquired. This can be compared to focusing engrams at the Umbral Decoder in the HELM. Get out there, earn some engrams, and get to work.”
