No Man’s Sky just released his 17th major update : 3.6, named Borders. It will bring further building improvements and we will see the rise of occupied settlements. This new update is already available on Playstation 4/5, Xbox One and Series X/S and pc.
No Man’s Sky Immerse yourself in the shoes of a spaceship pilot and discover a mystery hidden in the center of the galaxy.
Discover billions of planets all different from each other through procedural creation. So you can harvest their resources there, seek their mysteries and communicate with the other species that live there.
You will be led to participate in heated space battles against other visitors. Indeed, you will not be the only one who wants to be the first to discover this secret hidden in the center of the galaxy.
In borders, you will now be able to rule, rename and master a colony in the eyes of its citizens.
You are responsible for the management, the responsibility for the constructions, the treasury, the policy pursued and the resolution of any conflicts.
Settlements are generated procedurally and you can modulate them to your liking using buildings, neighborhood maps, unique color schemes, and interior and exterior decor options.
What’s new in Borders
As for the bases, you have new construction pieces and new sets of wood, alloy and stone at your disposal. Add your decorative touch with a hundred different pieces provided for this purpose.
A small HUD is available in this update to reorganize your rooms on a grid to simplify your construction and resource management, all in a free placement mode.
Each player starts in Borders with a unique vessel equipped with an ultra-powerful catapult and an advanced wave engine.
