Call of Duty Vanguard beta is coming to an end
Call of Duty Vanguard beta is coming to an end on PlayStation 4 and PS5.
If you’ve been enjoying the Call of Duty Vanguard beta this weekend, consider this your final warning, as the COD beta has an end date of September 13.
Exclusive to PlayStation devices, this weekend’s Call of Duty Vanguard beta will end at 6pm BST.
Fortunately, the beta returns later this week, and this time the content is for everyone.
The second Call of Duty Vanguard beta begins September 16 for Xbox and PC pre-order customers.
All fans can participate in the beta from September 17, even without pre-order. This also applies to players on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
To make sure you don’t miss a second of the action, it’s a good idea to load the second beta early.
Loading the game early will allow you to enjoy the Call of Duty Vanguard beta as soon as it hits the servers later this week at 6:00 PM.
The beta offers an expanded look at the brand new Champion Hill game mode.
Champion Hill made his debut at the recent Alpha test. It is described as a multi-arena survival tournament, “where tactics and strategy are combined with fast-paced action, close-quarter gunplay”.
The Vanguard beta also includes classic game modes such as Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Kill Confirmed.
Elsewhere, fans can check out the brand new Patrol multiplayer mode, featuring moving targets across three different maps.
Speaking of maps, Call of Duty Vanguard’s multiplayer beta includes the locations of Hotel Royal, Gavutu, and Red Star.
Players can level up to level 30 during the beta and there is a special bonus for anyone who reaches level 20.
Reach level 20 during the multiplayer Vanguard beta and you’ll receive a bonus Weapon Blueprint for the full game in November.
Similarly, weapon XP will be limited to level 30 in the beta, while Operator XP and Clan XP will only be available when the game launches this year.
And don’t worry about your Battle Pass in Cold War and Warzone, as the progress made in the beta will count towards your Battle Pass rewards.
