Fans of World of Warcraft Classic are counting down to the release of the next major expansion, WoW TBC Phase 2 – Overlords of Outland.

The Burning Crusade has proved very popular with the fan base and will now be expanded with new content and features.

The Burning Crusade will soon boast The Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, The Eye and the Guild Bank.

And after undergoing some rigorous testing, Blizzard is now ready to launch WoW TBC Phase 2.

WHEN IS THE RELEASE DATE OF THE BURNING CRUSADE PHASE 2?

Blizzard has confirmed that the WoW TBC Phase 2 release date has been set for Wednesday, September 15, 2021.

And the good news is that a full schedule has been confirmed so that all WoW Classic fans are prepared to play together.

A message from Blizzard has revealed that the WoW Classic TBC Phase 2 release time is set to 11pm BST.

For gamers in North America, all Phase 2 content will go live on Wednesday, September 15 at 3:00 PM PDT / 5:00 PM CDT / 6:00 PM EDT.

The full statement on the new content reads: “Or our Burning Crusade Classic players, we’re excited to let you know that the first major content update, Overlords of Outland, is going live soon.

“Starting September 15, you can take on Prince Kael’thas and Lady Vashj in some iconic raids, take part in a new season of Arena battles and more. We’re also working on something for WoW Classic players who’ve told us they’d like to make a fresh start, and will be sharing more about our plans soon.

“Creating World of Warcraft is truly a collaborative effort between the folks on our team, at Blizzard and all of you — and as we build, iterate and talk about what’s next, we hope we can demonstrate our commitment to making Azeroth the best place it can be for everyone.”

Blizzard has also provided a detailed guide on how gamers can access the latest Phase 2 content when it goes live in WoW: The Burning Crusade this week.

The next content update for Burning Crusade Classic is called Overlords of Outland and will allow you to take on two of Illidan Stormrage’s most powerful lieutenants: Lady Vashj in Serpentshrine Cavern, located in Zangarmarsh, and Kael’thas Sunstrider in The Eye, the central wing from Tempest Keep in Netherstorm.

“To access those two new raids, you need to complete certain mission chains with strict requirements. Some of these chains require you to visit specific dungeons in heroic mode, each of which has its own requirements to access. Keep in mind that some of these requirements can be circumvented by grouping with someone who has already completed them, and others can be circumvented by certain classes or professions.

“Many of these quest chains can be started – and some even fully completed – before you reach level 70 and will reward you with powerful loot that you can put to good use when completing some of the later steps. It’s highly recommended that you do most of these quest chains with a full dungeon group (one tank, one healer, three damage dealers), as many of them involve dungeon visits and elite group outer quests.
