Marvelous First Studio’s Kenichiro Tsukuda has announced that his team is currently working on a sequel to Daemon X Machina. The producer (aka Armored Core) made this known during the livestream for Daemon X Machina’s 2nd anniversary.
Tsukuda said his team was highly motivated, but development would take some time. No wonder: there is still no official announcement. He also indicated that the game could play in a different era and that there would be new content elsewhere as well.
Fits very well: As of yesterday, you can play the mech game for free on Nintendo Switch if you have an active subscription to Nintendo Switch Online. You have one week to play Daemon X Machina.
Daemon X Machina was originally released for Nintendo Switch on September 13, 2019. We tested the game back then. There was even a The Witcher DLC! The following year there was a release for PC Steam.
The mech game was developed under the leadership of Kenichiro Tsukuda and Shōji Kawamori.
The Earth and its inhabitants are on the brink of destruction in this stylish mecha action game. As mercenaries, players control a powerful arsenal battle suit and face unpredictable artificial intelligence.
