More PS5 stock is reportedly coming to GAM this week after one of the biggest PlayStation restock events of the month.

Console hunters recently got their best shot at buying a next-gen slot machine, and it looks like more is planned for September.

GAME will be restocking the PS5 over the next week and dropping the latest shipment of what has been shared very soon.

And if this turns out to be correct, it marks a rapid turnaround for the retailer, following the drop of thousands of consoles last week.

If things arrive as predicted, your best chance to buy a PS5 this week is between September 21 and September 23.

The news was shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – known for providing the best guides on what happens next.

The message posted on Twitter by PS5 Stock UK reads: “The release date for the bundle listings on the GAME site has been updated to 30/09/21, indicating an online restock between September 21 and 23.”

There’s even a link available to check out the upcoming PS5 bundles, which includes multiple choices.

There is the option to buy just the console, but it is expected to sell out the fastest.

Meanwhile, there are plenty of other combinations, some of which include games and other items.

The most expensive PS5 bundle available to buy costs just under 700 and includes a PS5 console, a T-shirt, a baseball cap, a copy of Ratchet & Clank, an additional black controller and a gaming headset.

Currys was one of the most recent UK retailers to offer a PS5 stock this week, although it was not distributed online.

Instead, Currys offers VIP codes that make it possible to claim a PlayStation 5 console from a store.

It means going to your local Currys and finding out when you can get a console next, which could mean waiting a few weeks to pick it up.

Meanwhile, Amazon has been linked with a number of stock drops this month that have yet to happen.

For a while there is no certain date for when the next one will take place, PS5 Stock UK believes it may arrive soon, telling its followers:

“Unfortunately, no one knows why Amazon hasn’t gone live with PlayStation 5 consoles in the past month.

“Usually they replenish stock on Tuesday or Wednesday, which are now over, so unfortunately we’re looking at next week.”

Knowing when a PS5 replenishment is due can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles their shipments.

And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:

ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and not being able to complete purchases when there is a lot of site traffic. Inventory trackers recommend using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on local store listings.

GAME: GAME is a UK store that offers the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. The next PS5 stock is expected around September 23.

AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK works better under tension, but still has a few kinks worth noting. Creating an account with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wish list before checking out. More stock is expected in September, but no hard data has been confirmed.
