World War Z Aftermath is a major upgrade launched by developers Saber Interactive, which will dramatically change the game across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC platforms.

And the good news for fans of the base game is that the World War Z Aftermath release date is slated for this week, with early access.

So if you’re eager to find out what’s changed on PS4, Xbox One, PC and next-gen consoles, don’t wait long.

Aftermath expands the base game and adds new missions, characters, locations, and features.

This includes adding the first-person mode to the game, which changes the perception of how the action flows around you.

And based on the popularity of titles like Call of Duty Zombies, you can expect a lot of people to be queuing up to try this out.

More melee mechanics are also being added through Aftermath, offering new ways to survive the hungry hordes.

And there are also reasons to buy this new pack on next-gen devices like PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Saber has confirmed that exclusive content is coming to next-gen devices, telling fans: “Play in glorious 4K|60 FPS on next-gen systems. Endure endless waves of increasingly difficult zombies in the new game mode Horde Mode XL, exclusive to PC , PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with hundreds more zombies on screen than ever before.

“Horde Mode XL will come with a free post-launch update, along with further next-gen improvements and support for PS5 and XSX|S console features.”
