With the current Blueprint Blitz event continuing this weekend, it won’t be long before developers Raven Software wraps things up and kicks off the next phase of Season 5.

This will be when the Call of Duty Warzone Numbers event kicks off, an activity that has been teased in recent weeks and unrelated to game reveals.

Instead, it will be connected to the doors that transport players through Verdansk and will contain a lot of new loot to unlock.

Over the next few days, Warzone fans will have the chance to add 11 weapon blueprints from previous seasons to their loadout.

And the way to unlock these old items that were brought in is to hunt for Contraband Contracts in Verdansk.

They are rare in mainstream games, but during the Blueprint Blitz event, gamers have a good chance of spotting them.

The Contract – which appears as a blue briefcase – appears after an Operator has completed another Contract in the game. When you hover over a smuggling contract, you’ll see the huge cash payout and the permanently unlocked weapon blueprint that rewards you for completing it.

Unlike most contracts that expire on death, any operator who takes out someone with the contraband contract gets to pick it up themselves.

After you retrieve this briefcase, your Tac map will be updated to show the extraction platform – a blue platform icon – for this piece of contraband. Similar to a Plunder Platform, you’ll need to engage a helicopter to safely extract the Contraband from the DZ, then interact with the bag it drops after flying in to secure your new weapon.

The current Blueprint Blitz event is expected to end on Monday, September 20, 2021 at around 6:00 PM BST.

And will be quickly followed by the Warzone Numbers event, with an expected start time of 6pm BST on September 21st.

More is expected to be shared about the new activities coming to the game on September 20, and new content is also planned for Call of Duty Cold War.

According to Activision, a set of nine challenges that can be completed in Multiplayer or Zombies will be available during the Numbers Event.

This is different from the set of nine challenges to complete Warzone, with a total of 18 challenges and 19 rewards you can earn during the event. Complete a full set of nine challenges in both games to unlock the first-ever event weapon reward, the Sai.

The new melee weapon is described as follows: “This dual-wield melee weapon, often used in covert combat sports, is the first-ever functional weapon to be awarded through a limited-time event.

“Hundreds of years ago, it was introduced to the island of Okinawa and was eventually adopted by the local police to help arrest criminals. For an outlaw like Kitsune, who grew up nearly 1,200 miles away in Kobe, it’s ironic to wield one.

“The lightweight design allows for improved agility and fast attacks, which is great for taking out zombies or the competition in Multiplayer and Warzone.”
