Xbox Series X stock news
Xbox Series X shares are currently hard to come by in the UK, although there are alternatives.
While the Xbox Series X is still out of stock, you can still grab an Xbox Series S.
Microsoft’s secondary console rarely runs out of stock and can be found at Very, Amazon, and Currys.
It can also be found on the Microsoft Store, one of the best places to check out Xbox Series X stock in the UK.
The Xbox Series S shares the same games as the Series X, but has some notable drawbacks.
A statement from Microsoft elaborates on this, telling gamers before purchasing one: “Both consoles offer next-generation capabilities powered by the Xbox Velocity Architecture, such as faster loading, the ability to seamlessly switch between multiple games with Quick Resume , richer and more dynamic worlds and frame rates up to 120 fps.
“The main difference between the two consoles is that the Xbox Series X displays games in native 4K, comes with a UHD Blu-ray Disc player and 1TB of custom SSD storage.
“Xbox Series S is designed for disc-free gaming at 1440p (with the option to upgrade to 4K), with a custom 512GB SSD. And, of course, they’re priced differently.
“Both consoles have the ability to expand the available custom storage through the Seagate Storage Expansion Card.”
There’s no word on when the next restock will take place or how many consoles will be made available.
Major stock updates usually include thousands of consoles to buy, but there’s never enough to keep up with demand.
In the United States, there may still be a few chances to buy a next-gen console before the end of September.
Recent reports suggest that Best Buy and the Microsoft Store will offer more Series X stock this week.
And from what’s been shared so far, it’s worth checking out both digital storefronts between September 22 and 24.
Meanwhile, it looks like the PS5 will be back in stock this week for purchase from GAME UK.
It is not yet known if the Xbox Series X will arrive around the same time or if gamers will have to wait until October.
If everything arrives as predicted, your best chance to buy a PS5 this week is between September 21 and September 23.
The news was shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – known for providing the best guides on what happens next.
The message posted on Twitter by PS5 Stock UK reads: “The release date for the bundle listings on the GAME site has been updated to 30/09/21, indicating an online restock between September 21 and 23.”
There’s even a link available to check out the upcoming PS5 bundles, which includes multiple choices.
The option to buy the console only is available, but that bundle is expected to sell out the fastest.
