FIFA 22 Coming Early for Ultimate Edition Customers (Image: EA)

FIFA 22 fans can play the full game early and unlimited, but only by pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition.

The FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition is available for £89.99 on PlayStation devices, Xbox consoles and PC.

If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition, you’ll get bonus FIFA points, loan items and a whole load of FUT bonuses.

But perhaps the best reason to pre-order the Ultimate Edition is to get early access to FIFA 22.

The FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition has a September 27 release date across all platforms. The Standard Edition will launch a few days later, on October 1.

EA Sports has yet to announce the Ultimate Edition launch time, although some fans believe it will be available at midnight on September 27.

However, based on EA Play early access and traditional FIFA update times, the Ultimate Edition may be released to UK fans at 6pm BST. Express Online has contacted EA Sports for confirmation.

Unlike EA Play’s early access period, Ultimate Edition owners are not limited to just 10 hours of action.

Express Online has posted the full list of Ultimate Edition benefits and bonus items below.

FIFA 22 Ultimate Edition pre-order benefits fully…

• Four days early access, play FIFA 22 on September 27

• Non-tradable FUT Ones to Watch item

• 4,600 FIFA Points

• FUT Team of the Week 1 Player

• Kylian Mbappé Loan Item, for 5 FUT matches

• FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick, for 3 FUT matches

• Career Mode Homegrown Talent, local youth perspective with world-class potential

• Dual Entitlement includes Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S games – or PS5 and PS4 games

With FIFA 22 launching in the coming days, EA Sports has revealed the game’s top-rated players.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are both in the top five.

Lionel Messi tops the table with an overall rating of 93. Robert Lewandowski is second with 92, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo with 91.

Kevin De Bruyne, Kylian Mbappé, Neymar Jr and Jan Oblak are also in the top ten, alongside Harry Kane, N’Golo Kanté and Manuel Neuer.
