Fortnite developer Epic Games has released a brand new update on PC and consoles.

The latest Fortnite update brings a slew of changes, adds new items and rebalances the gameplay.

Speaking of rebalancing, one of the major new features is the XP increase, which should make leveling up easier than ever.

To coincide with the increase in XP, Epic Games has also released the bonus styles for Season 8.

These are the styles available after players reach level 100 in the Battle Pass.

“The Cubes even damaged the Battle Pass! (But in a good way.) Bonus styles for Chapter 2 Season 8 outfits are available for players beyond level 100,” explains Epic.

“But now: This season’s Super Level Styles have been added! Pass Level 140 this season and unlock new runic styles for Charlotte, Kor, Fabio Sparklemane, JB Chimpanski and Torin.”

According to Epic Games, the XP has been greatly increased for Daily Punchcard missions and also added to Shared Quests.

“All new and future Character Punchcards have significantly increased XP rewards,” adds Epic.

Following the release of Update 18.10, Epic Games has officially announced the next crew member reward for October.

As you can see in the tweet below, the Chaos Origins skin will be at the top of the next Crew pack.

Chaos Origins will be accompanied by the Siphon Pack Back Bling, as well as the Mutagen Mace Pickaxe.

“Also included is the black and red World Dominator Wrap to match his suit,” continues Epic. “(Like his future self, he dresses better than you’d expect.)”

The Chaos Origins skin will be available to Crew subscribers on October 1 at 01:00 BST.

Elsewhere, fans have uncovered many secrets after searching the update 18.10 game files.

Fans have discovered a new gameplay feature as golden and purple crows fly across the map. Shooting these crows will reward players with high-level loot, so they’re worth looking forward to.

As pointed out by Fortnite insider Shiina, Epic will be releasing a selection of Halloween themed item bundles soon.

The ‘Frankenstein’ bundles and the ‘Curdle Scream Leader’ outfit all use the codename ‘Critter’ in one way or another. Here are two more unreleased outfits that also use the ‘Critter’ codename: CritterManiac and CritterRaven.’

Fans are also counting down to the start of the Soundwave Series concerts on October 1.

It all starts with a concert by Egyptian singer Mohamed Hamaki, complete with the debut of his new song Leilt Elomr, which is accompanied by a special emote.
