EE And Argos May Get More PS5 Stocks To Buy This Week
PS5 gamers will soon have another chance to purchase the much sought-after next-generation PlayStation console. Leading mobile operator EE could resume taking orders for the PS5 on Tuesday, September 28. This is according to the reliable @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter account, which also said more Argos shares could become available to buy on the same day.
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: “PlayStation 5 (EE) News.
“If you’re an eligible Pay Monthly customer, you can get the PS5 interest-free with EE for 11 months starting at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, September 28.”
While the account also tweeted, “PlayStation 5 (Argos) Exclusive News.
“Most Argos console distributions are done, meaning the company is ready to go live with PS5 consoles this week, every day between September 28 and October 1.
“However, only Disc Edition shipments have arrived. Argos will be selling digital editions that some stores have withheld from previous restocks. Please note, however, that the digital edition will not be as widely available as the Disc edition.”
If you’re hoping to buy a PS5 this week, the rumored Argos restock could be one of your best bets.
You have to check certain boxes in order to order a PS5 from EE.
You have to be an existing EE customer to order a PS5, so you can’t rush to sign a contract to buy a console for the first time.
Not only that, but you must also have a monthly paying device subscription and within the first 17 months of your contract.
So if you have a SIM-only deal with EE, or towards the end of your handset contract, you are also missing out.
If you qualify, you can go to the EE Store and – if you manage to beat the queues tomorrow – spread the cost of purchasing a PS5 by adding it to your existing subscription.
EE and Argos can get PS5 restocks on Tuesday, September 28
A PS5 Disc Edition console costs £40 a month for 11 months when purchased through EE.
Aside from EE and Argos, the retailer GAME is also tipped to get another PS5 replenishment this week.
The GAME website is believed to be opening orders for the PS5 again, just in time for the upcoming FIFA 22 release date.
The @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: “PlayStation 5 (GAME) Exclusive News
The GAME drop believed to be this week was a ‘simple miscommunication’ by the company internally.
“New restocking dates are expected to be September 28-30.”
The account later added, “PlayStation 5 (GAME) News.
“Dates have been updated on the GAME Bundles page following our previous news. Priority deliveries will ship by October 7, and all other delivery methods by October 11. Stock is expected October 1 with FIFA 22 bundles.”
