PS5 UK Stock News from GAME and Argos
More PS5 stock is coming to GAME And Argos this week, bringing in the last stock of September.
Console hunters have been given multiple opportunities to buy next-gen slot machines from several major retailers in recent weeks.
And it looks like more is planned over the next month to end things with a bang.
According to the latest reports, GAME will be restocking the PS5 before Friday, having already released thousands of consoles earlier this month.
More PS5 shares will be available to buy on Thursday, September 30, between 8am and 12pm BST, if all goes as predicted.
The news was shared by PS5 Stock UK – a reliable stock tracker account on Twitter – known for providing the best guides on what happens next.
The last message from the account on Twitter reads: “The PlayStation 5 Disc & Digital Edition consoles (+bundles) have been given the go-ahead within GAME, scheduled for Thursday, September 30.
“This is the final date, no more changes are expected. Must be a 9am-11.30am drop. Priority Insured Delivery Methods will ship before October 4, all other delivery method orders will ship before October 11.
And GAME isn’t the only UK retailer linked to a new PS5 addition before the end of the month.
Argos is expected to release a new shipment of next-gen consoles within the next 48 hours, usually very early in the morning.
Another post from PS5 Stock UK on Twitter explains: “Most Argos console distributions are done, meaning the company is ready to go live with PS5 consoles this week, every day between September 28 and October 1.
“However, only Disc Edition shipments have come in, Argos will be selling Digital Editions that some stores have withheld from the previous restocking. Note, however, that the digital edition will not be as widely available as the disc edition.
It’s unclear whether Argos will release this new stock drop as a digital exclusive, or leave most of it in stores.
Currys is another retailer that is expected to offer more PlayStation 5 consoles to buy, but this is not expected to happen until later in October 2021.
Knowing when a PS5 replenishment is due can be vital, but it’s also worth knowing how each retailer handles their shipments.
And here are a few examples of how best to try and buy a PlayStation 5 console from leading UK retailers:
ARGOS: The Argos website is notorious for crashing and not being able to complete purchases when there is a lot of site traffic. Inventory trackers recommend using the Argos mobile app and keeping an eye on local store listings.
GAME: GAME is a UK retailer offering the most regular stock updates for PS5 consoles. However, console hunters have been warned to use Guest Checkout as this option is less likely to crash when completing a purchase. The next PS5 stock is expected on September 30.
AMAZON UNITED KINGDOM: Amazon UK works better under tension, but still has a few kinks worth noting. Creating an account with your card details is a good start, and gamers should also try adding a console to their wish list before checking out. PS5 consoles are currently sold out.
