Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes completed its Kickstarter campaign in the summer of 2020 for over $4.5 million. Since then, the developers of Rabbit & Bear have been working hard on the successor to Suikoden and have been supported by publisher 505 Games for quite some time.
For example, Eiyuden Chronicle can also be seen in the publisher’s livestream today as part of the Tokyo Game Show 2021. That is, mainly was Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising see.
Rising is a city-building action RPG and a sort of prequel to Hundred Heroes, featuring pre-war stories of various characters who eventually become companions in the Eiyuden story.
A new trailer today shows you many new scenes from Rising, which will also be released for Nintendo Switch in Spring 2022. This platform is new – previously it was only announced for PlayStation, Xbox and PCs.
There was also little news about Hundred Heroes. A release for Nintendo Switch is also being considered here, but that’s not dry yet. It is also probably uncertain whether there will be new Nintendo hardware in 2023.
