New Call of Duty updates are arriving this week that will kickstart COD Season 6 in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

The content will mainly focus on the Cold War, with Activision preparing to launch the final Zombies map, called Forsaken.

A post from developers Treyarch outlines the direction of the latest Undead experience before the Cold War, telling fans:

A message from Activision confirms that the Treyarch Zombies team is ready to close one chapter of the Dark Aether story and open the door to another when Call of Duty Vanguard releases in November.


Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty Cold War and Warzone Season 6 will begin on Thursday, October 7 at 5am BST.

Before that happens, a new Cold War update will be released on October 6, around 5am BST, which will contain everything needed to start the new season.

This should be installed by COD fans who want to start exploring the new Zombies map on October 7.

Five weapons: A lever-action Shotgun and a reliable Assault Rifle within the Battle Pass system, in addition to a deadly new melee weapon earned through a challenge, all available on Day One of Season Six. Expect to earn a unique SMG and a set of dual-wield melee tools during the season.
