GTA 6 Release Date: Shocking New Grand Theft Auto Prediction Made

Recent articles

Grand Theft Auto remains one of the biggest entertainment franchises in the world, even with gamers waiting years for the release of GTA 6. Rockstar Games is known to develop the latest titles, which are expected to be released first on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

And as in the past, the next Grand Theft Auto game is expected to hit PC as part of a massive transfer process, but never for PS4 or Xbox One consoles. The reasoning behind this is good, as any game that appears on such old technology is severely limited by the scope of what it could achieve.

But there are still many details that have not been revealed, including the final release date of GTA 6. It has become a bit of a running joke that GTA 5 will be available to play on every platform before GTA 6 arrives.

And that is no doubt true for GTA V, which will be available to play on next-gen consoles in 2021, long before GTA 6 is expected to release.

One thing gamers want to know is why they have to wait so long for the next installment.

GTA V came out in 2013 and has proven to be so popular and enduring – thanks mainly to GTA Online – that it can still be found in the digital store’s top ten lists.

But while GTA Online remains a powerhouse, a new prediction has been made as to why we’re waiting so long for GTA 6.

According to a new report from Seeking Alpha’s Matthias Schwarzer, Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive are bidding their time.

The global situation of pandemic restrictions and supply chain issues has resulted in a nearly completed game being delayed for the perfect release date.

The Search alpha Schwarzer’s prediction explains: “My personal guess after years of following Take-Two, first as a consumer and later as an investor, is that GTA VI has been more or less ready for 2 years now.

“First came the pandemic-related boom for GTA V, and now we are faced with supply chain issues. I am convinced that these delays were the smartest move the company could have made. On the one hand, they give Take Two time to fine-tune its product and, on the other, to clear up the uncertainties, while earning enough money to regain leadership of the company. A luxury problem that only a few select companies can handle. TWWO is one of them.

The report adds: “Delays are common as TTWO is known for not releasing anything until it meets the company’s high standards. This is greatly appreciated by the millions of customers, who cherish Take Two for this feature, which is a bit of an anachronism in today’s game industry. This time, however, I believe the recent delays were motivated not only by the company’s perfectionism, but also for another reason, which I think makes perfect sense.”

This remains a prediction for now and should be taken with a grain of salt, but there are plenty of reasons why a company like Take-Two would choose not to rush something like Grand Theft Auto, and the suggestions above make a lot of sense.
