Riders Republic is free to play on PC
Ubisoft has made Riders Republic available as a free download for a limited time.
Riders Republic’s Free-to-play period will run from now until 8am BST on the morning of October 13th.
To try the game for free, you can download Riders Republic from the Ubisoft Connect Store.
And don’t worry about having to play a boring tutorial as the training part is disabled for the duration of the trial period.
This means you can jump right into the open-world action and participate in sports such as snowboarding, cycling and skiing.
Ubisoft explains more: “Many of you participated in the Riders Republic Beta in August and had a lot of fun in our Massive Multiplayer Playground, while also watching your favorite streamers and providing feedback.
“There are some surprises to come as we launch the game on October 28, 2021.
“The introduction/tutorial will only be disabled for PC Play Day so you can jump right into the game and explore our world!
“Experience all the different sports careers the game has to offer, including cycling, snow sports and aerial sports. Whether you like racing or prefer gravel and cool tricks, the PC Play Day has it all!”
According to Ubisoft, fans can even try out some of the new Shackdaddy Bandit Challenges.
By completing challenges, players unlock stars, which can be used to purchase customization items.
If you enjoy the free trial and want to play in full, Riders Republic will be available from October 28th.
Fans can pre-order a Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition, the latter of which includes the Year 1 Season Pass.
That’s in addition to the Cosmic, Rainbow, Neon, and Skull’n Style Packs, as well as a custom Bunny outfit and snowboard graphic.
If you haven’t seen Riders Republic much, the upcoming Ubisoft game is sort of an expanded version of Steep.
Instead of just winter sports, gliding and wingsuits, the game offers downhill BMX bikes.
Grab your bike, skis, snowboard or wingsuit and explore an open world sports paradise where you can make – or break the rules.
You can play against 19 other players in a huge multiplayer world with locations like Yosemite, Zion and Bryce Canyon.
