Amazon Games has released a brand new update for massively multiplayer online RPG New World.

The latest New World update is available on PC and Steam and makes a slew of bug fixes.

According to the patch notes, update 1.0.2 also improves artificial intelligence and makes changes to the storefront.

Elsewhere, faction missions will now have less impact on attacking factions. This is part of Amazon’s plan to fix a bug.

Unfortunately, the ability to switch servers hasn’t been fully added yet as Amazon continues to work on the feature.

“This week’s update brings with it a slew of bug fixes, in addition to laying additional groundwork for the upcoming server handover feature,” explained Amazon.

“Many members of our team are still working tirelessly to ensure that everyone can find a world to call their home for the long haul with the character transfer feature.”

Fans will be able to see all the changes once the servers are back online at 4 PM Dutch time.

• We have adjusted the degree of influence gain over time so that bringing an area into conflict state will continue to require significant effort over time:

• Significantly reduced the amount of influence gain over time for attacking factions.
